Hello everyone! I'm a daughter, a grandaughter, a girlfriend, a cousin, a friend, a niece and an aunt at heart. I have the need and want to share a little about myself and why I blog. I feel it is a way to get alot off my chest that I normally wouldn't say aloud. Although I am pretty outspoken, I still enjoy to jot some things of my daily life down and have wonderful memories. I love my life and everyone in it. I have amazing support from my family, friends and my very handsome man Kyle. He is the one who keeps me sane when things take a turn for the worst. I couldn't have asked God for a better match!I work from home as a Medical biller which I love and also starting my own cupcake business called Batters Up Cupcakes! That has been a lifelong dream of mine and I'm hoping I can succeed at it. I am addicted to Starbucks, my camera, my iPhone, texting and shopping. Well, that's about all I have for now. I hope you enjoy a little bit about me and some of my most random of thoughts! .xoxo.

Lady Antebellum

So Wednesday morning I get a call from Kristi to invite me to see Lady A Thursday night down in L.A. She won tickets through K-Frog and new I adore this group and I was her first choice! :) With no hesitation, I said "YES!" I was so happy that she thought of me... So Thursday came and I got to work super early and was able to leave at 2 to head to Kristi's and get ready to head out. Let me just tell you that I hate driving to L.A and all their traffic. I get an anxiety attack just thinking about it. Lol Anyway, we made it (safe and sound) and stood in line along with about 30-35 other people. While we were waiting, one of the bartenders was taking food and drink orders so none of us lost our place in line. That was very smart on their part. Doors finally opened at 8:30 and it was a first come first serve standing room. So, we made it the side front of the stage. I literally sat on the stage as we were waiting for them to get on the stage. It was so neat to walk in and see the 3 bar stools and knowing they'd be out soon to sing their butts off! Here they came... Yay! It was srsly the best concert. So intimate and unplugged. They sang some of their old songs and new songs. I'm so very happy that I had the chance to go and experience this. I saw them a couple years ago when they opened for Tim Mcgraw but, this put that to shame. So, here's some pictures and a video of "Just a kiss" Listen to the whole thing until the end... The ending is something new they did and it's great! Oh and don't mind the girl singing in the background before the song starts. That was an older lady we met standing in line who had a little too much to drink.. ha ha
Ok well as of right now I am unable to load any videos on here.. Bummer cause I have a few from the concert...Oh well, I'll try again in a bit.

  1. Alicia that is so awesome! What a great friend you have thinking of you. I would have gone in a heartbeat too! It sounds like you had an amazing time...and I so get anxiety driving to LA too! I have the hardest time taking or picking up someone from the airport...clenched hands the whole way! So happy for you!
