Hello everyone! I'm a daughter, a grandaughter, a girlfriend, a cousin, a friend, a niece and an aunt at heart. I have the need and want to share a little about myself and why I blog. I feel it is a way to get alot off my chest that I normally wouldn't say aloud. Although I am pretty outspoken, I still enjoy to jot some things of my daily life down and have wonderful memories. I love my life and everyone in it. I have amazing support from my family, friends and my very handsome man Kyle. He is the one who keeps me sane when things take a turn for the worst. I couldn't have asked God for a better match!I work from home as a Medical biller which I love and also starting my own cupcake business called Batters Up Cupcakes! That has been a lifelong dream of mine and I'm hoping I can succeed at it. I am addicted to Starbucks, my camera, my iPhone, texting and shopping. Well, that's about all I have for now. I hope you enjoy a little bit about me and some of my most random of thoughts! .xoxo.

A bittersweet weekend

I did it... I went to be with my family in Arizona. I have to say that this might have been the hardest thing I've ever had to do. We got to Annie's early Friday morning and went straight to my aunt and uncle's house. I took one look at him and went to the other room to have, yet again another breakdown. I couldn't believe that I was looking at my crazy, lovable, smart uncle in the bed weak and just not himself. I came to and went over to talk to him. He still has his silly sense of humor that we all love. He had such wonderful things to say to me and Kyle that he wanted to make sure I kept with me and also told Kyle exactly how he felt. I noticed that during everyones visit, he wanted to make sure to tell them everything he has felt and didn't want to leave anything out. They in return would say the same to him. He told me that I am his daughter and how much he adores Kyle and wants us to get married. I know right... Hurry already! :)I was able to tell him everything I thought about him and how lucky I am to have such a wonderful uncle and second dad. He also said that the road continues and that we will see each other again. It's so hard to hear that, even though he is so tired and weak and just ready to go home. I was so happy that my Mom and Grams came along for the ride because I wouldn't have been able to get through it. Spending the entire weekend with my family was just the happiest time for me, I do wish Kyle was with me but, it honestly was for the best. This wasn't a "fun" trip, this was a hard goodbye trip (literally) I did however get to spend some much needed time with my favorite little girls. Elle and Eden lighten up my day! I love them so much and couldn't believe how big they both have gotten since we last saw them.
We ended up leaving a little later than expected to come home because of the goodbyes. Ugh... I can't even talk about it without tearing up. I just want my uncle to know that he is going to be missed and I love him so much and Disneyland will not be the same without him!

  1. What a hard thing you had to do but at least you did get to go out there! I always hate that I didn't get to see my grandma or aunt before they passed away from cancer. Your uncle sounds like a wonderful man! Hugs and prayers for you.
