Hello everyone! I'm a daughter, a grandaughter, a girlfriend, a cousin, a friend, a niece and an aunt at heart. I have the need and want to share a little about myself and why I blog. I feel it is a way to get alot off my chest that I normally wouldn't say aloud. Although I am pretty outspoken, I still enjoy to jot some things of my daily life down and have wonderful memories. I love my life and everyone in it. I have amazing support from my family, friends and my very handsome man Kyle. He is the one who keeps me sane when things take a turn for the worst. I couldn't have asked God for a better match!I work from home as a Medical biller which I love and also starting my own cupcake business called Batters Up Cupcakes! That has been a lifelong dream of mine and I'm hoping I can succeed at it. I am addicted to Starbucks, my camera, my iPhone, texting and shopping. Well, that's about all I have for now. I hope you enjoy a little bit about me and some of my most random of thoughts! .xoxo.

2 days with a migraine

Hi all.
As most of you know, I suffer from severe migraines at least once a month. These are to the point where once I get them I have to go into a dark room and sleep it off and have them for a day or two. (literally) I've been to the doctors and they gave me Cafergot which I'm to take at the first sign of my migraine. Well, I haven't had one this month and was pretty excited. I spoke too soon. I started getting one at about 4AM Thursday morning and since I was still half asleep, I didn't get up to take my pill. When I got up about an hour later for work, it was too late. I got to work about 6:45 and took my pill (i waited until i got to work because they make me dizzy) After drinking a butt load amount of water nothing helped. Not even the lights or computer that I type on all day... I asked my supervisor to leave early and without hesitation she said, "absolutely." I got home, took a half of a Zomig that my aunt had given me and went to sleep. I woke up to Kyle getting home from work and ate something. It went away for a few hours. Yay! But, then came back Thursday night while I was sleeping. These bastards are the worst thing, especially while you're trying to sleep! So, I wake up yesterday morning in excruciating pain. I called into work, and called Kyle to let him know what was going on. I ended up going back to the doctor and he ran a few tests and put me on Sumatriptan generic for Imitrex. He also asked me if I wanted to have him give me a shot that would knock out the migraine. At first I said no because it was something new that I've never had, plus I'd have to wait there a little longer to make sure my body took it OK. Well, I decided to get it, the Toradol shot hoping this would work. The doctor did tell me that if this whole treatment doesn't work that I might need to consider going to their headache specialist. Ugh... Just what I need to go through. I ended up making it home safe and sound yesterday, took the Sumatriptan and went to bed. Kyle got home from work and laid right next to me rubbing my head and we ended up waking up hours later and having some dinner. As of today, my headache is 90% gone. Thank God. I hate that I have to go through these on a month to month basis.
I'm now going to try and have a good weekend.
