A Weekend getaway

So, we had the best time in Arizona celebrating my Uncle's 60Th birthday. He has been very sick and we all thought we weren't going to be able to see him on this special day but, he proved us wrong. He was looking and feeling good all weekend! =)

Kyle, my Mom and I drove out Friday morning and arrived at Annie and Ollie's where we got to meet Eden for the first time. Let me tell you, she is a doll, and i fell in love with her! Elle would not leave my side when we got there. "Play with me Wesha", is all she kept saying. So, I had to pretend I had all the energy in the world to entertain my favorite little girl. Saturday was the day of the party, so we all got ready to spend it with family and friends whom most of us hadn't seen in a long time, that was great! I forget how truly lucky I am to be able to share my life with the ones I love the most. My Dad was also there and was so happy to spend this weekend with all of us. He is doing great so far and keeping up on his diabetes well. On Sunday, Ollie, Annie, Kyle and myself went to church. The sermon was about Loyalty to spouses, friends, and God. My eyes were wide open for all three and it spoke to each one of us in a different way. After that, we met up with the family for lunch and then to the mall for a Sugar Daddy's Cupcake (they won one of the Cupcake Wars) Their cupcakes were so big and just too pretty to eat! But, we got 4 and devoured them! LOL. Kyle and I were asked by Ollie to play on his Sunday night softball team, so we did that and met some new people. His team didn't win but, we were glad to try and help them out. We got home today... BOO! I wish we would've stayed longer. I hate leaving my family, especially the little ones. Kyle, Ollie and myself are trying to talk Annie into moving out here. It would just work out better for all of us! Well, maybe just me! ;)
